Description
The Grimoire of Armadel is an 18th-century French grimoire translated into English by S. L. MacGregor Mathers (1854–1918) and first published in 1980, many years after his death. Mathers based his translation on Grimorium, seu totius secretorius cabalae perfectissima, brevissima et infallibilis scientia, tam speculativa, quam practica Armadel . Although written in French, it clearly belongs to a translation of a Faustian grimoire from Germany.
This collection also includes another manuscript on the occult sciences that is worth the entire collection in itself, being a compendium of several very relevant books in the world of occultism, which contains the same text, but under the name Grimoire or Cabala, by Armadel .
